Millennium Badges.

Members should know that we can all wear a Millennium Badge on uniform from now until 31 December, 2000.  These are available from District Badge Secretaries or direct from Scout Shops Ltd.  

The badges cost one pound of which 50 pence goes  as a donation to local charities chosen by each District in the UK.  With 500,000 Members we can expect to give donations totalling in excess of 250,000 pounds to numerous local charities.  This opportunity continues our theme of "Scouts help Others"

Please ensure that all young people and adults with whom you have contact
have the opportunity to purchase and wear a Millennium Badge so that they
are "Part of the Action".
